Yo La Tengo have presented plans to support US Vice President Kamala Harris’ bid for the presidency by playing intimate acoustic shows in exchange for sizeable donations to her campaign.
The US trio are taking submissions from fans who can host the band to play a small live show. All they ask for in return is that a legitimate donation be made to the Democratic presidential ticket of Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, as they prepare to take on the Republican duo of Donald Trump and JD Vance.

Yo La Tengo are set to play a series of UK shows later this month, including appearances at the festivals All Points East and End Of The Road. They will then return to the US for four shows in the country later in September. The band are touring in support of their 2023 album, This Stupid World.
