Barreiro’s OUT.FEST has confirmed a second wave of acts playing its 2024 edition this October.
The Portuguese event, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, will take in a special collaborative performance by noise group Wolf Eyes and jazz great Anthony Braxton, while ambient artists Ulla and Perila are also set to team up for a joint live set.
Further additions to the bill include Brazilian funk producer DJ Anderson do ParaÃso, fresh from the release of his debut album via Nyege Nyege Tapes; Lisbon-based free rock quartet Caveira; Serbian cassette manipulator Lenhart Tapes, joined by violinist-vocalist Tijana Stanković; improvisational composer LEIDA; and Portuguese ambient DJ carolf.
They join the previously announced likes of Armand Hammer, Nazar and Speaker Music on the lineup for this year’s edition of the experimental music event.
