Lord Bono of Howth and his merry minstrels have warned fans not to purchase any tickets for U2 gigs.
Not because they’re trying to cut down on the amount of dough they’re squirreling away in off-shore tax havens or anything, but apparently some swine have been flogging tickets for concerts that don’t actually exist.
U2 posted on their website to tell fans that they wanted to "correct reports that tickets are becoming available for planned U2 shows.
"The reports are mistaken, there are no tour dates for the band at the moment – so please don’t buy tickets for U2 shows you see advertised."
