Shackleton and Six Organs Of Admittance have teamed up for a new collaborative album, titled Jinxed By Being.
Spanning seven tracks, it marks the first collaboration between the two artists. Both contribute vocals across the record, while some cuts see Shackleton rework archive drum samples captured by Six Organs Of Admittance, real name Ben Chasny, during his project’s infancy. The two artists have shared a video for lead song ‘Stages Of Capitulation’, which you can watch below, ahead of the album’s release.
Jinxed By Being follows on from Shackleton’s most recent solo LP, The Scandal Of Time, which he released last November. He also collaborated with Scotch Rolex on the album Death By Tickling early last year.
Drag City will release Jinxed By Being on June 28, 2024.
