Nik Void will head up an evening of music and panel discussions taking place at London’s Somerset House this Saturday (January 27).
For her set, Nik Void will present a dancefloor-focused live set, stemming much of her inspiration from the new agent of change being introduced by Mayor Sadiq Khan to protect nightclubs in the capital.
Also playing across the evening are PAN affiliate Flora Yin-Wong, LOFT, Sophie Coletta and Afrodeutsche. Ahead of the evening’s music programme, a number of panel discussions will take place across the afternoon. The first will be focussed on ‘Transgressing Structures, Making Safer Spaces’. Panelists include Boiler Room’s Amanda Maxwell, Annex Agency founder Chloe Pensavalle, Alice Woods of Manchester collective Meat Free and UNITI’s Englesia.
A second panel discussion will focus on ‘City Futures’ with panelists LoneLady, Video Jam co-director Shereen Perera, filmmaker Liam Young and Rachael Williams who is programmer at Five Miles as well as Rye Wax.
