Last Year is a new documentary set to air soon on Channel 4, focusing on the period leading up to Prince’s death in April of last year.
The documentary will be made up of will new interviews and footage from his final shows – mostly captured during his Piano & A Microphone Tour as well as his secret White House gig in 2015.
George Clinton, Reverand Al Sharpton, and Cee-Lo Green are among the interviewees, with the documentary also looking to address Prince’s use of painkillers, in the run-up to his death. Lat Year will also feature interviews with Prince’s friend Van Jones, his former girlfriend Andy Allo, and the singer Eryn Allen Kane, all discussing the days leading up to his death. No air date has yet been confirmed.
