No Luscious Life is the upcoming debut album from Golden Teacher arriving off the back of a series of excellent single releases over the last couple of years, and streaming exclusively above, is the second taste of the record in the form of ‘The Kazimier’.
A shimmering disco and dub-indebted cut, oozing with funk, the track is described by the band as "a sweet and low last dance upon the stage of Liverpool’s late, great Kazimier club".
The album itself collects seven tracks recorded by the band at Glasgow’s Green Door Studio, which has become a cultural hub for Glasgow’s underground music scene in recent years, and provided the meeting and formation place for the group. No Luscious Life is set for release on November 3 by the band’s own Golden Teacher Records. You can pre-order it here.
