Wild Beasts Announce Split

Four-piece Wild Beasts say their time as a band is "coming to an end"

Wild Beasts have announced that they will play their final shows together early next year before splitting.

In a statement shared today (September 25), the four-piece explain that they’ve all decided to go their separate ways after 15 years together. "We’re caretakers to something precious and don’t want to have it diminish as we move forward in our lives," the statement says.

The statement concludes saying that before they split, they would like to celebrate with fans, with further announcements on what those celebrations will entail set to follow.

The band released their debut album, Limbo, Panto, in 2008 via Domino, before going on to release four further albums, most recently 2016’s Boy King. You can revisit our 2016 podcast with Wild Beasts in which they discuss that album here, while you can read their full statement on their decision to split here.
