Discogs Launch Databases For Films, Books And More

Discogs follow the launch of Gearogs with additional databases for films, books, comics and posters

Following the launch of a database and marketplace devoted to audio equipment, naturally titled Gearogs, Discogs have now launched an additional four databases devoted to films, books, comics and posters.

Filmgos, Bookogs, Posterogs and Comicogs allow users to both submit and browse data as well as sell items, as is the case with Discogs and Gearogs, with the databases on all sites building thanks to the contributions of users.

The sites are only currently available in a public beta version, and the sites are currently focused on building their respective databases. Fees for listing and selling items have been temporarily put on hold in a bid to get new users to make submissions on the platforms.

Discogs expanded beyond their initial music marketplace and database to launch Gearogs in April of this year.
