Gaelynn Lea And Childhood At The Windmill Tomorrow

Violinist and songwriter Gaelynn Lea plays Brixton venue Windmill with support from Childhood playing an acoustic set tomorrow

Gaelynn Lea, fresh from an appearance at last weekend’s Green Man as well as a recent tour alongside Low, will play live tomorrow (August 23) at Brixton venue The Windmill.

A classically trained violinist and songwriter, Lea’s profile has been gathering steam since the release of her 2015 debut solo album All the Roads that Lead Us Home, on which she paid homage to the traditional fiddle tunes that she had been playing for over a decade by that point, using her Memory Man looping pedal on the record to contort the melodies on those tunes.

Childhood will support on the night with a special acoustic set playing tracks from their new album Universal High. You can grab tickets and find out more information on the show here.
