Laraaji will release a new album and EP via All Saints Records this autumn.
Double album Bring On The Sun is described as "a carefully programmed listening experience moving between sun-dappled floating tones, rhythmic autoharp workouts and his more song-based tracks, with consummate ease". You can hear an excerpt of ‘Introspection’ taken from the album above.
The EP, entitled Sun Gong, is described as "a meditative drone work" with the two long-form pieces featured exploring the "microtonal possibilities of a hammered gong processed through various electronic effects". It will be released on limited clear vinyl two weeks ahead of the album on September 8.
Laraaji will play End Of The Road Festival on September 1 and will follow it up with a gig at London’s Tin Tabernacle the following day. Get tickets for that show here.
