Following the recent announcement that Shackleton and Annika Henderson, better known as Anika, have teamed up for a new album, they have now shared a pair of video clips to accompany the album. You can check them out above and below.
The clips make up two of four videos produced to accompany the new record, entitled Behind The Glass, which is out now. Formed of a one-hour piece, the album is split into four parts and marks Shackleton’s first release on his own Woe To The Septic Heart imprint since 2015, following a pair of records released with Honest Jon’s which saw him team up with spoken word artist Vengeance Tenfold and singer Ernesto Tomasini.
On the album, Annika Henderson is said to narrate "a tale of love, longing, fate and compulsion, which stretches out in the style of a surreal fable", while Shackleton finds a spot somewhere "between devotional music and avant trance". You can hear parts of the album for yourself via the video clips which are accompanied by hazy, kaleidoscopic visuals.
The pair will present their new live show at Berlin Atonal this August. For more details, click here.
