You Could Own Daft Punk’s Roland TR-909

The drum machine used by Thomas Bangalter of the duo has gone on the market

The original Roland TR-909 drum machine used by Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter has been put up for sale.

As Thump point out, the drum machine is loaded with the original presets for Daft Punk track ‘Revolution 909’, which featured on their album Homework, and has been put up for sale by Vintage & Analogue Occasion.

Listing the item, they write: "Needless to say, it’s a collector’s item, so it’s impossible to set a price." The machine will be sold to the highest bidder by the company, so if you want to get your hands on it, it’s probably best to bear in mind that it will come at a hefty price. You can see a demo of the drum machine itself, posted earlier this year, here.
