The first wave of names has been confirmed for this year’s Simple Things in Bristol, with GAIKA, Shackleton and Clark among those locked in to play.
Other highlights amongst the festival’s live programme include Jlin, Nadine Shah, Jane Weaver, The Bug & Miss Red, Idles, Marie Davidson, Carla Dal Forno, Lorenzo Senni, Oliver Wilde and Warmduscher. As ever, the festival will also play host to a strong DJ billing with Daphni, Juan Atkins, Shanti Celeste, Willow, Binh, Sassy J, Intergalactic Gary and Gramrcy among those featured on the lineup.
tQ will be back at the festival again this year to host a stage with the festival set to take over a number of Bristol venues on October 21. This year will see the festival extend to a three-day event with an opening concert from Metronomy getting things underway at Motion on October 20, followed by the main day of action on October 21.
