A new album from Luke Calzonetti, otherwise known as Run Dust, will form the next release from French label In Paradisum, and ahead of its release, you can take a first look at a video made to accompany album track ‘Leisure Village’.
The video collects together various found footage, offset against the track’s eerie melodies, one of the latest dispatches from Calzonetti’s impressive work rate, having gone from fashion model to grindcore jazz player to the incarnation in which we find him now. The new album, also titled Leisure Village, follows on from a 2014 LP release with In Paradisum as well as cassette releases with Opal Tapes, Tesla Tapes and more, where Calzonetti displayed a keen ear for combining the noisy with the melodic.
The album is set for release on June 16 and can be pre-ordered here. Meanwhile, long-time In Paradisum affiliate Low Jack will also soon release a new album, entitled An American Hero, via the Modern Love label.
