New band combining Gnod and Radar Men From The Moon debut first track 'Butcher's Tears', below.

New outfit Temple Ov BBV, a collaboration between Gnod and Radar Men From The Moon, have revealed their debut track ‘Butcher’s Tears’.

The blistering, 11-minute effort is available to listen to above.Their self-titled album is available on Rocket Recordings in June.

The name comes from the work of Dutch scientist Bart Huges, chronicled in his book The Mechanics Of Brain Blood Volume (BBV), who used a dentist’s drill to open a hole in his skull, theorising it would result in enhanced mental power and a permanent high.

Says Gnod’s Paddy Shine of the collaboration: "Both bands had agreed from the off that we were not just gonna go in there and just jam and play over each other for hours in the hope that something good would happen. We went in with the mindset of creating sound structures which turned out to be a very gratifying process"

Temple Ov BBV perform a rare live date as part of Gnod’s residency at this year’s Roadburn Festival. For info and tickets, click here
