Birmingham’s Supersonic has confirmed a further set of names for this year’s lineup, with Richard Dawson, Tomaga + Pierre Bastien, Xylouris White and more among those newly added.
Also joining the bill are Electronica Wizard, Ex Easter Island Head, Kuro Maga, Jessica Moss, Anonymous Bash, Dorcha, Haress, Zonal and The Space Lady. They will play in addition to the previously announced Anna von Hausswolff, Jenny Hval, Colin Stetson, Princess Nokia and more.
Zonal’s performance at the festival will mark the UK debut of Kevin Martin and Justin K Broadrick’s new project, having moved on from Techno Animal, while Richard Dawson will play material from his forthcoming new album backed by a live band which includes long-time collaborators Angharad Davies and Rhodri Davies as well as members of Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs.
Anonymous Bash is a new project guided and led by Charles Hayward and featuring members of Gnod. More names will be added in the coming months. Supersonic takes place in Birmingham from June 16-18. Check out a trailer for this year’s festival above, and get tickets here.
