Dekmantel Announces 2017 Bill

Robert Hood, Jeff Mills & Tony Allen, Steve Reich and more will play the Dutch festival

The lineup for the fifth edition of Amsterdam’s Dekmantel Festival has been announced, with appearances from Robert Hood, Jeff Mills & Tony Allen and British Murder Boys among those confirmed.

The festival will begin on August 2 with a concert from Steve Reich & Slagwerk Den Haag at concert hall Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ. A day later, a number of concerts will take place across various venues along the IJ river, with Monolake, Sun Ra Arkestra, Floating Points, Factory Floor, Optimo, Das Ding, Forest Swords, Lorenzo Senni, Demdike Stare, Andy Stott, GAS and Dopplereffekt among those playing.

The full festival gets underway on August 4, and will also feature Ben UFO, Nina Kraviz, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Omar S, Lena Willikens, Helena Hauff, Marcel Dettmann, Larry Heard, Palms Trax, Shanti Celeste, Call Super & Objekt, Beatrice Dillon and many more.

Also playing across the festival’s four stages are Arca & Jesse Kanda, Joy Orbison & Jon K, Marie Davidson, Resom, Donato Dozzy & Peter Van Hoesen, DJ Nobu, Karenn, Overmono, Ancient Methods & Vatican Shadow, Young Marco and more.
