Baba Yaga’s Hut Announce New Shows

London promoter confirms an extensive set of listings including shows from The Comet Is Coming, Hey Colossus and more

London promoters Baba Yaga’s Hut have confirmed a series of listings for the first half of this year which will see the likes of The Comet Is Coming, Colin Stetson, Hey Colossus and many more play gigs at various London venues.

This Saturday (January 21), they will host Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, with support from Lower Slaughter and Tough Tits, at The Lexington, while on January 24 and 26, Tanya Tagaq plays shows at Cafe Oto and Corsica Studios respectively. Evil Blizzard complete this month’s listings with a show at London Underworld, also featuring Taman Shud and The Fierce & The Dead, on January 28.

Moving into February, Bad Guys play their last ever show at Moth Club, and Gum Takes Tooth, Luminous Bodies, Casual Nun and Henge will all support, That takes place on February 4. Chrome and Teeth Of The Sea play The Dome in Tufnell Park on February 8, while Esben & The Witch and Laura Cannell are at Electrowerkz on February 18.

In April, Gnod are also at Electrowerkz with Group A also playing – that is on April 14. Colin Stetson is at the Jazz Cafe on April 23, while Oxbow and Sumac will play The Dome on April 25. Part Chimp are set to take to the stage at 100 Club on April 28. Rounding off the plans as they stand for the year, Hey Colossus are at 100 Club on May 17, and The Comet Is Coming play their biggest London headline gig at Heaven on May 24.

Finally, it’s all about Raw Power at The Dome on May 26, featuring Faust, White Hills, Evil Blizzard, Mums, Blood Sport and many more. The full set of Baba Yaga’s Hut listings for 2017 as they stand can be found here where you can also buy tickets.
