While it looks like The Smiths won’t be reuniting anytime soon with Morrissey’s comments on Brexit clearly driving a wedge further between him and Johnny Marr, the band are lining up a new 7" release which will feature two previously unheard tracks.
The news was confirmed on Morrissey fansite True To You with the 7" set to feature a demo mix of ‘The Boy With The Thorn In His Side’ (the finished version featured on The Queen Is Dead) and an unheard version of ‘Rubber Ring’. The sleeve has been designed by Morrissey himself and there is no release date as yet.
