London’s fabric has submitted evidence to court ahead of its appeal later this month against the decision to take away the club’s license.
The club will call upon 41 witness statements – including those of a former police officer tasked with handling licensing during the 2012 Olympic Games and leading drug welfare expert Fiona Measham – as part of the appeal on November 28 which will take place at Highbury Magistrates Court.
In another transparency statement published by the club, the team at fabric also says that it has submitted a 155-page document, as well as 32 new license conditions, to the court, outlining how it will respond to the criticism levelled at it which resulted in its closure earlier this year. There are also suggested measures to ensure that in the future closure of venues is a last resort, following lengthy discussion between licensees and stakeholders.
