Hessle Audio will soon follow the release last year of Pearson Sound’s debut album with the first long-player from another of the label’s founding trio, Pangaea. Above, taken from that album, you can exclusively listen to ‘Send It In’.
Built around stilted drums and warped flutes, the track finds the producer on less intense terms than the material that made up his self-released New Shapes In The Air 12" last year and stands out as one of the album’s slower cuts.
Entitled In Drum Play, the album will be released on October 14. Its title is described as "a product of that feedback loop between the studio and the club" and it marks Pangaea’s most substantial outing since 2012’s Hessle Audio-released Release double-pack, while also coming off the back of a string of 12" releases via his own Hadal imprint.
