William S. Burroughs Tape Loops On Vinyl

Tape experimenter's works to be released on vinyl for the first time

Tape experiments by William S. Burroughs will be collected and released on vinyl for the first time as part of a compilation to be issued by Paradigm Discs.

As The Vinyl Factory reports, the compilation is entitled Curse Go Back and takes in a number of cut-up tape recordings that have only previously been made available via a free CD in 1998, which was given away with the first issue of a French magazine called Crash. It was later recalled which means only 100 copies were available to the public.

The release takes in most of the original recording though it has been edited down to 46 minutes and will be available to buy from August 29.
