The Quietus Hour Episode Ten: New Music Radio With John & Luke

Luke Turner and John Doran are back with another instalment of their weekly radio show that brings you the best in new music and also features that kind of gibberish that would have seen them incarcerated in more civilised times

Buoyed by thirty minutes of good weather between monsoon-like downpours and a pot of coffee so strong it created ripples in the fabric of spacetime, John Doran and Luke Turner were back once again like renegade pastors this week to record The Quietus Hour episode 10, under the watchful eye of the Arch Deacon of radio, Seb White. This week the poundshop chat focussed on Field Day, Keith Chegwin in a sauna, the possibility of a civil war kicking off after the Brexit/Bremain stand off on the River Thames and orange juice drinking contests at children’s birthday parties. And after being beaten with the stick of chat, you are rewarded with the carrot of new music in the form of bangers from Shahram, Tim Burgess & Peter Gordon, Bitori, Gazelle Twin, Jambini and many more. We wish all dads everywhere a happy fathers day and play them all their favourite group… Big Busines. Pass the Battenburg mother, I’m going in!
