Cult hero Jarvis Cocker is set to appear on Thursday night’s Question Time.
The singer will lock horns and debate political issues with Harriet Harman, deputy leader of the Labour party, former Tory leader Iain Duncan Smith, David Laws MP and Mail on Sunday columnist Peter Hitchens.
Although the recession and MPs expenses row are likely to dominate the agenda, it’s likely that Cocker may be asked for his opinion on the death of Michael Jackson–the former Pulp frontman famously gatecrashed Jackson’s performance at the 1996 Brit Awards and showed him his backside.
