TUSK Festival returns once again this year to a new home on the south bank of the River Tyne and the first names for this year’s festival have now been announced.

Leading the names is Eiko Ishibashi, a frequent collaborator of Jim O’Rourke and recent collaborator of Merzbow also. Also set to play is Silent Servant who will bring his sludgy, brooding experimental club music to the festival. Completing the first names are Fovea Hex, Guttersnipe, Eddy Detroit and Los Siquicos Litoraleños. There are many more acts to be announced in the coming months too.

The festival also promises a film programme as well as a series of talks, exhibitions and installations. TUSK Festival takes place at St Mary’s Square in Gateshead Quays from October 14-16. You can find out more information and get tickets here.
