Bloc Daytime Programme

Workshops, interviews and panels taking place across two days at the on-site cinema as part of this year's newly added daytime programme

With this year’s Bloc weekender at Butlins Minehead rapidly approaching, details have been announced of this year’s newly added daytime programme of panels and discussions.

It will all be hosted at the on-site cinema in association with London Electronic Music Event and is set to take place across two days including eight panel discussions and one-on-one interviews. Among those are interviews with Daniel Miller and DJ Bone (the latter of which will be recorded for the Resident Advisor Exchange series); a workshop on modular synthesis involving Carl Craig, Ansome and Defekt; a panel on equal representation in electronic music headed up by Jane Fitz and a discussion on party politics chaired by the Night Time Industry Association’s Alan Miller which will “take a look at the approaches to and impacts of legislation on electronic music and culture”.

This year’s Bloc line-up includes Thom Yorke, Holly Herndon, Evian Christ, Four Tet, Helena Hauff Ben UFO, Steve Davis and many more. It takes place at Butlins Minehead from March 11-13.
