Styx Crash The White House

Prog-rockers take over press conference

Classic 80s rockers Styx crashed The White House briefing room while taking a tour of the world’s most famous political office.

The band decided to take the tour as they were in Washington DC for the day before playing a concert in nearby Maryland, when they happened to stumble across a press conference.

They gave mixed responses when asked for their views on President Obama’s time in office so far. Keyboard player Lawrence Gowan claimed he would have voted for Obama if possible, but couldn’t because he was Canadian

Drummer Todd Sucherman, however, responded with a thumbs-down gesture when asked to assess the President’s performance so far.
