Discogs Relaunches VinylHub

VinylHub will allow Discogs users to collect information on record shops around the world

Online record marketplace Discogs has relaunched its VinylHub record store directory.

With its growing popularity among vinyl lovers as a resource for buying, selling and cataloguing records, Discogs now wants to allow users to do the same with record stores around the world. As Resident Advisor reports, the recently relaunched service will allow users the ability to rate stores around the world that they have visited while noting various pieces of information about each store including opening times. The service will also chart record fairs and pop-up stores, as well as stores from the past that are no longer open. The site launched a year ago and currently holds information on 4367 record shops. 2016 will also see Discogs fully launch its long-awaited app for iOS and Android devices.
