Lone Taxidermist Tonight

Lone Taxidermist to perform new music for the first time at Sebright Arms tonight

Tonight, friend of the site Natalie Sharp, otherwise known as Lone Taxidermist, is undertaking a slightly unusual feat.

She will attempt to make the basement of Bethnal Green’s Sebright Arms look like the inside of her womb. “Imagine the red wedding scene in Game of Thrones and then add some saccharine disco bowel pop and you’ll be getting close,” she says. Lone Taxidermist will perform songs from her forthcoming album Trifle at the show for the first time. Billed as a one-off performance, she will also be joined by Mr Vast from Germany (performing music from his new album) and the Self Harmonies Choir which will see Serafina Steer, Hannah Peel and Fional Fletcher perform a dissonant chant about Walthamstow Marshes. It’s £4 on the door and gets going at 8pm. For more information and to get advance tickets, head here. You can check out a special preview video for the show and album above.
