One-Of-A-Kind Wu-Tang Album Sold

Single copy of the album sold for millions at auction

You may remember a lot of buzz earlier this year around Wu Tang Clan’s one-of-a-kind album, Once Upon a Time In Shaolin, which was encased in an engraved silver and nickel box and featured Cher as a guest. It has now been sold at auction.

As Forbes reports, an American buyer acquired the album for millions through online auction house Paddel8, though further details on who it was sold to, for exactly how much and what lies next for the album remain unclear. It was previously reported that the album would not be made available for wide release for at least 88 years, which prompted some criticism from Method Man against the album’s producers, RZA and Cilvaringz.
