London-based online radio station is opening a new, second studio in Manchester with broadcasting set to begin this Sunday (November 29).
Broadcasting every Sunday, a range of shows will be aired on the station’s ‘INT’ stream, a second international stream that runs alongside NTS’ primary London schedule. The new studio will give the station a chance to showcase a selection of northern talent, with the likes of Demdike Stare’s Sean Canty, Swing Ting, Ruf Dug, Akkord’s Liam Blackburn and acclaimed DJ Jon K all pencilled in for slots. NTS was founded in April 2011 and has maintained its community focus since operating mostly from its Dalston studio.
