Tortoise Announce Album Reissues

Band will reissue all six of their previous studio albums on limited colour vinyl

With a new album from Tortoise announced just last week in the form of The Catastrophist, Thrill Jockey have now announced that their six previous studio albums will all be reissued on the same day on limited colour vinyl.

These include records on opaque brown, translucent blue and red with white splatter vinyl among others, taking in all of their albums from their self-titled 1994 debut to 2009’s Beacons of Ancestorship. All of the albums will be reissued on January 22, the day of the release of The Catastrophist. You can hear the first taste of that album, shared online last week, which is titled ‘Gesceap’, above. Tortoise come to Europe for a full tour in February.
