Having last week launched an initiative to encourage its users to catalog every piece of music released in the world, Discogs has now announced that there will soon launch a mobile app for the service.
As the Vinyl Factory reports, the app will be available on both iOS and Android systems and will allow users to browse records listed on the site, both new and second-hand. It will also allow users to update their personal record collections and wantlists as is the case with Discogs’ general website. However, users of the mobile app will not be able to purchase records or contact sellers. The app is due for launch in early 2016.
