This year’s Stow Festival will see a headline appearance from Jim Jones And The Righteous Mind ahead of their forthcoming UK tour in support of their forthcoming Boil Yer Blood EP.
In a show presented by our very selves at tQ, the band will headline the Saturday night of the festival in Walthamstow, London on September 19, with support coming from The November Five and Amesbury Banks.
The Stow Festival is a grassroots, multi-venue event that is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year with a line-up of 100 acts playing across 25 venues around the north east London area of Walthamstow.
Fstival chair Nick Bason says: "With venues closing all over London, The Stow Festival has bucked the trend by increasing in size each year. Thanks to the ingenuity of the borough’s musical community and support of local business, we’ve seen The Stow Festival grow on annual basis and we’ve been able to utilise spaces not normally associated with music to put on memorable events.
“We’re delighted that Jim Jones And The Righteous Mind are going to be headlining the Saturday night of the festival and we’re thrilled to be working with The Quietus.” The Boil Yer Blood EP is set for release on September 25 via download and limited 10” vinyl. Tickets for the show are priced at just £10 and go on sale tomorrow morning (August 6) at 9am here.
