Woodlands Stage At Festival No. 6

Lost in the Woods stage at this year's festival will be curated by different artists on each day; Badly Drawn Boy, Dutch Uncles and Jane Weaver will take the reins

The Lost in the Woods stage at this year’s Festival No. 6 will be curated on each day by a different act on the bill. Friday will see a selection of entertainment picked by Badly Drawn Boy, Dutch Uncles will take the reins on Saturday and Jane Weaver on Sunday.

This marks the first time guest artists have curated the stage. Badly Drawn Boy will play a headline performance on Friday celebrating the 15th anniversary of his album The Hour of Bewilderbeast, and guesting that day will be John Shuttleworth, The Wedding Present (performing a stripped back set), The Walk, Songs For Walter and Jez Kerr. "Festival No. 6 is one of the best festivals I’ve been to and playing the Lost in the Woods stage as the sun sets over the estuary is something very special," says Badly Drawn Boy.

Dutch Uncles will bring along Cuz, Slug, Aldous RH, Aero Flynn and Ménage à Trois. Jane Weaver’s day will see special showcase from Bird Records with a line-up that features Emma Tricca, Novella, Paperdollhouse, Let’s Eat Grandma, Orlando, tQ’s very own John Doran and DJ sets from Lady J and the Finders Keepers crew.

The festival has also announced a selection of woodland raves as well as other entertainment on site including acrobatics and spoken word performances. Festival No. 6 takes place from September 3-6 in Portmeirion, Wales, home of the cult TV series The Prisoner. For the full line-up for this year’s Festival No. 6 and to get tickets, head here.
