WATCH: Docteur Satan – The Operator

Docteur Satan raises hell on his four-track self-titled debut EP, and we get an exclusive video debut

Blown-out bass kicks and spooky vocal samples sputter across Docteur Satan’s just-released debut EP, a record unleashed upon this unsuspecting mortal plane courtesy of French electronic producer Cosmo Vitelli’s I’m A Cliché record label.

Putting his own spin on new beat, the good Docteur (Krikor aka the Crackboy) delivers four tracks of grotesque dancefloor ravers on his self-titled four-tracker. ‘Entity’ rides a malevolent groove of squelchy acid electronics and foreboding samples into the pulsing void of ‘(666)361-9794’, that, judging from the hissed come-ons driving the tune, is a set of digits best left undialled. The Rob Zombie-esque video for the seething and sleazy ‘The Operator’ makes its exclusive debut above (the full EP’s below), where you can see a no-doubt well-adjusted chap suck on a dominatrix’s stiletto among other depravities. If you’re looking for something to soundtrack your Jacob’s Ladder-style house party doom trip, this is the look.
