If, like tQ editor John Doran, you spent a lot of time during the early 90s, living in a squat in Hull, getting beat up by squaddies outside the Spiders nightclub, watching the first Gulf War on low grade acid, listening to Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath, weeping in the duckpond and drinking Cellar Five own brand pale cream sherry – this video should be a proper whimsical trip down memory lane for you.
Young Hastings tear aways Riddles – friends to the doom riff/foe to the barbers and to wearing shirts – are mad as hell and are refusing to take it any more. This suitably psychedelic video was made by Lou Smith, who also shot the ‘Cream Of The Young’ video for Fat White Family.
As a great man once said: horns up ya shitters!
