Collaborators announce second instalment of trilogy; hear two tracks from The Female Form below ahead of release on April 17

Loke Rahbek, he of Lust for Youth, Vår and Damien Dubrovnik among others, and Frederikke Hoffmeier, aka noise experimentalist supremo Puce Mary, have reunited for their second collaborative album. The Female Form is out on April 17 on a limited run of 500 copies on Posh Isolation, and is the second part of a planned trilogy, picking up where they left off with 2011’s The Closed Room. We’re told that "the record deals with intimacy and the (im)possible relation of the sexes" and is "a demanding and intriguing venture into the two artists’ world, even if we are left at the doorstep with the door closed in front of us", with recording done partly at Stockholm’s famed EMS studio. For now, the label have given us a taster in the form of these two tracks – consider it an early Easter treat, if high-pressure electronics and intimate vocals are more your thing than chocolate – ‘A Body Reimagined’ featuring Rahbek’s voice and ‘Liquefying Of The Flesh’ Hoffmeier’s. Give them a play above and read our recent Puce Mary feature here.
