A raft of new names have joined the Dekmantel line-up filling up the night program for this year’s festival. Among those added to the already bulging line-up are DJ Harvey, Derrick May, Omar S and Surgeon.
This year’s official night program will take place at Amsterdam’s Melkweg. Andy Stott, Dopplereffekt, Joey Anderson, Lone and Call Super will also play Dekmantel By Night this year. A few later additions are promised including artists scheduled to play the theatre room of Melkweg as part of Resident Advisor’s VS showcase. The Amsterdam weekender will kick off with a previously announced opening concert at a new venue for the festival, the Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ. Autechre and Manuel Göttsching will play at that event. Dekmantel By Day, taking place at the usual Amsterdamse Bos site and announced earlier this year, is led by sets from Jeff Mills, Madlib, Four Tet, Ricardo Villalobos and Robert Hood, among others.
