LISTEN: Stream Kapital’s New Album

Hear Chaos To Chaos, from the duo featuring Kuba Ziołek and Rafał Iwański, in its entirety ahead of release tomorrow

Instant Classic, the ever-fine Polish record label, release the second album by Kapital tomorrow. Chaos To Chaos sees the experimental duo of Kuba Ziołek, aka firm tQ favourite Stara Rzeka and T’ien Lai, and Rafał Iwański, of X-Navi:Et and HATI, both of whom are in Innercity Ensemble, another group close to tQ’s heart, expanding their approach sonically, taking in vocals on the magnificent centrepiece ‘The Music Of Goodbye’, and thematically, taking 20th-century French philosopher Gilbert Simondon as a leaping-off point. "He prefers using words ‘tension’ and ‘resonance’ instead of ‘chaos’ and ‘order’. Chaos shouldn’t be perceived as something negative or positive. It is tension or otherwise a collection of different tensions that result in structures, moments of resonance that enable development which is the essence of life," says Ziołek. Ahead of its release tomorrow, the label have kindly given us a first play of the album in full – listen above. Kapital will be heading out on the road in Poland later this month, after which Ziołek is coming to the UK for a tour as Stara Rzeka – take a look at all the dates below:
