James are about to head out on a ten-date tour of the UK in support of their recent album, La Petite Mort. In advance of that, they’ve kindly given us a first look at the video for new single ‘All I’m Saying’, out digitally on November 17. It features the excellent, darkly uplifting handiwork of Péter Vácz, the Hungarian stop motion animator best known for his film Rabbit And Deer – take a look at it above.
Talking to tQ’s John Mullen about the album earlier this year, frontman Tim Booth explained: "I’ve realised quite recently that death is present here and there as a backdrop to James. I always think of Nick Cave in those terms, and his love of el duende [a heightened awareness of death and sadness].
