We’ve previously enjoyed ‘6 AM’ and a split with Alan Vega from Vermont psych rock duo The Vacant Lots, who are now gearing up to release new single ‘Paint This City’ later this month, on Sonic Cathedral. Ahead of this, we have the video stream for the track above.
The mournful video splices shots of the pair with black & white footage of cityscapes and roads that makes for a fitting visual foil to the duo’s melancholic, downbeat rock. The track, taken from debut album Departure, is due for release on September 22 backed by ‘Departure’ – not on the album of the same name – and you can catch them live later this month in London, Rugby, Liverpool, Southend and Bristol – all the details for those dates are available on Sonic Cathedral’s website.
