Årabrot Announce Return & Mini Album

Kjetil Nernes recovered from cancer and set to release I Modi shortly

Here’s some excellent news to close off the week: Kjetil Nernes, the mainman of long-term tQ favourites Årabrot has recovered after being treated for throat cancer. A press release from his label Fysisk Format explains that he was, "was diagnosed with deadly cancer in May this year. After a summer of treatment and 35 stitches across his neck, he is now back – and with no time to waste."

And they’re not kidding: Nernes will release a mini album, I Modi, on October 13, which is set to be preceded by a video from the record, due next Friday, September 5. He’ll then be playing two concerts in his native Norway, with a UK and Spanish tour following.
