Bristol post-punk firebrands The Pop Group have announced that they will embarking on their first ever UK tour this October, marking the beginning of a series of album reissues. The start of their seven-date tour will coincide with the release of their 1980 odds-and-ends compilation We Are Time, remastered from the original tapes, and a new rarities and previously unheard material collection Cabinet Of Curiosities, via new label Freaks Are Us on October 20. The tour, which will see the band performing We Are Time in full alongside a selection of material, is also in support of the Campaign Against Arms Trade, with the band’s Mark Stewart saying: "In this age of hidden agendas/proxies and false flag attacks, now more than ever we must campaign against the arms trade THE MOST BRUTAL TRADE".
