Following the news of their first album, Tweedy – Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy and his son Spencer – have announced a one-off UK show. They’ll be playing the London Palladium on November 4, with the album, Sukierae, coming out on September 22 via dBpm.

Speaking about the album, Jeff Tweedy explained that it’s not a solo album, as he initially thought it would be, but "a solo album performed by a duo", adding, "Spencer’s been with me from the very beginning demo sessions, playing drums and helping the songs take shape". Spencer’s previously played in The Blisters and Tully Monster as well as releasing solo material – head to his website to listen – with both Tweedys currently touring the Sukierae material in the U.S. with bassist Darin Grey, guitarist Jim Elkington and keyboardist Liam Cunningham. Have a listen to ‘I’ll Sing It’, the first track released from the album, below, and head to Wilco’s website to get hold of tickets for the London gig from 9 am this Friday, June 20.
