Yesterday, The Wire announced the return of its Off The Page literary festival. The event takes place at Bristol’s Arnolfini, one of Europe’s leading centres for the contemporary arts, over September 26-28.
The event is described as "a literary festival concerned with sound, a music festival without music" and is curated by The Wire alongside Qu Junktions and the Arnolfini. It boasts three days of talks, discussion and debate from a variety of revered music critics, authors and musicians. The schedule is packed with Quietus favourites such as Robert Wyatt, recent interviewees Carla Bozulich and Sarah Angliss and Mark Fisher (read an excerpt of his new book Ghosts Of My Life we previewed here). Details of the full programme will be announced shortly, but day tickets and weekend passes are available to purchase now. For more information and tickets, check here.
