Fabio Frizzi To Play Barbican On Halloween

Evening of cult Italian horror films and music announced for October

The Barbican are set for Frizzi 2 Fulci, a Halloween event featuring the work of Italian horror movie composer Fabio Frizzi. Famous for his work with ‘The Godfather of Gore’ Lucio Fulci on films such as Zombie Flesh Eaters and The Beyond, the evening will celebrate their collaboration with film scenes and Frizzi himself, accompanied by the F2F Orchestra, the Alauda String Quartet and vocalists.

While Frizzi’s work sits comfortably alongside the work of excellent Italian film composers like Morricone and Goblin, it also shows its influence in the work of modern synth artists like Umberto and Boards Of Canada. His show last year at the Union Chapel sold out and this year’s event promises to be equally immersive; get hold of tickets here and watch some of the Union Chapel concert below:
