We’ve previously reported the double whammy of Eigg-based excellence been dealt out by The Pictish Trail this year: on July 18-20, he and his Lost Map label will be hosting the first Howlin’ Fling festival on their home island, with a full complement of roster acts alongside Alexis Taylor, Luke Abbott, Beth Orton and more. Before then, on June 9, he’ll be reissuing his Secret Soundz Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 albums, via London’s Moshi Moshi. To whet your appetites for the latter, Johnny Lynch, for TPT is he, has kindly given us a first look at Alan Cameron and Ben Cowie’s new video for Vol. 2 cut, ‘Wait Until’, a tender, hazed piece of ambient pop, weighed down with the heft of sadness and loss that comes from being the first song that Lynch wrote after his mother passed away.
