Enjoy the bonkers video for ‘Lou Reed Lou Reed’ by Luke Haines below. The single was a limited edition Record Store Day vinyl release, but has been considered worthy of a video featuring, to pick but two examples, numerous Lou Reeds on a New York subway train and a Campbell’s soup with exclusively Reed-based ingredients.
The track is from Haines’ forthcoming album New York In The 70s, released via Cherry Red on May 19. It’s billed as "a mythical re-imagining of a long gone age, by a man who hails from Surrey, southern UK", and is the sibling of last year’s Rock And Roll Animals and 2011’s 9½ Psychedelic Meditations On British Wrestling Of The 1970s And Early ’80s.
